In the name of God Amen
I Bromsall Crouch late of Bethnall Green Hamlett but now of Potters Barr in the County of Middlesex Gentleman being of a Sound and disposing mind and memory Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testement in manner following that is to say ffirst I commit my Body to be decently buryed in the the Doctors Vault under the parish church of Saint Andrew Holborn and as near to the Bodys of my late ffather and Mother as can conveniently be at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named and

as to all my Estate whether reall or personall whereof I shall be possessed or have any right or title unto at the time of my Decease I give and bequeath the same unto Edmund Overall of the parish of St Mary Woolwich London Gentleman his Eecutors and Administrators upon trust and to the end and Intent that from and out of my said Estate or Estates he shall in the first place pay and satisfy to himself all such sum and sums of money as now are or shall be owing to him the said Edmund Overall by me the said Bromsall Crouch at the time of my decease upon Bonds and Judgements or any otherwise howsoever

And after full payment thereof them that he the said Edmund Overall may pay and satisfy unto John Crosse of Long Acre Coachmaker all such sum and sums of money as now are or shall be owing to him the said John Crosse from me the said Bromsall Crouch at the time of my Decease and after full payment of the said John Crosse that then the said Edmund Overall may pay and satisfy all and every other my just and Legal Creditors their several and respective just and Legal Debts

And I hereby give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of all my said real and personal Estates whatsoever and wheresoever whereof I shall be possessed or have any manner of right or title unto at the time of such my decease unto the said Edmund Overall and his heirs for ever after payment of my said Just Debts to himself in the first place and to the said John Cross in the second place and afterwards to the rest of my said Creditors as aforesaid

And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Edmund Overall whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I hereby revoke and annul all former and other Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of September in the ninth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God King of Great Britain And in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty ffive – Bromsall Crouch

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the under written who have hereunto Subscribed our names in his presence the word Late being first Interlined Francis Lee John Vass Thomas Vass

This Will was proved at London the twenty second day of September in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty ffive before the Worshipful Thomas Walker Doctor of Laws Surrogate to the Right Worshipful John Bettesworth Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Edmund Overall the sole Executor in the said Will named to whom Administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattells and Creditts of the said deceased being first sworne duly to administer the same./.
