  1. Simple white tablet with triangular pedimented top, with a groove above the incised inscription and set against a conforming black ground. The inscription is in roman caps except for the second line which is in sans serif caps. The fourth line is sloped; all black-filled. The maker’s name is lightly incised on the E side of the ground: CURRIE / 240 OXFORD STREET. W /
