In the name of the Great ~ God and his son Jesus Christ and of the Holy Ghost

I Thomas Turnor of the Middle Temple London Esq. do make this my last Will and testament vis whereas it has pleased God to take away the late Archbishop of York on whose favour my son Thomas Turnor much depended for some preferment in the Church and whereas my wife has a jointure which will come to my first son Anthony Turnor who is now a Commission Officer in the Army I therefore desire that neither my wife nor my said son Anthony will take it amiss that I make my said son Thomas sole Executor of this my will and likewise that I give unto him all my personall estate and therefore do hereby appoint him my said son Thomas sole executor and do give unto him all my personal estate I heartily recommend harmony love and affection between my said wife and sons I desire to be privately buried in Buntingford Chapel in the middle isle of the Chapel near my father I also? recommend to my said son Thomas to be mindful of my sister Bradley and honest? Edward Swallow and to do any ffurther tokens of kindness to any such other person or persons as he shall think proper Witness my hand this 2nd day of May 1724 – Tho: Turnor published and declared in the presence of Ellinor Pye and Edward Swallow
