In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Turnor of Little Court in the county of Hertford to prevent my being surprised by death doe make constitute and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say my soule I comitt to the mercy of God my Saviour and my body I desire may be buryed in the chapell at Buntingford in the said County of Hertford and as for my wordly substance I dispose of the same as follows viz: Imprimis

I give grant devise and bequeath to my deare sisters Mary and Lettice Turnor all and singular my houses mefsuages and Ground Rents with their and
every of their appurtenances whatsoever the remainder and remainders

The revertion and revertions thereof which I lately purchased of my brother Thomas Turnor and which are lying and being in or neare the old distillery grounds in the county of Midd’x with all other my lands and tenements whatsoever with their appurtences in the said county or elsewhere to have and to hold the said houses messuages and ground rents with their appurtenances and all other my lands and tenements whatsoever to my said two sisters Mary and Lettice Turnor and their heires and assigns forever to be equally divided betweene them as tenants in comon Subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts and legacies

Item I give and bequeath to my deare Brother Thomas Turnor the sume of ffifty pounds sterling to be paid as the same may be raised out of the issues and profits of the said ground rents

Item I give my Goddaughter and Neice Elizabeth Crouch the sume of five pounds when she shall attaine to her age of ffifteen years Item I give to the poore of the parifh of Buntingford twenty shillings

Item All the rest and residue of my estate both reall and personall I give and devise to my said two sisters Mary and Lettice Turner to be equally divided between them and I appoint my said two sisters to be executors of this my last will and testament And I doe utterly revoke all former wills by me at any time made or declared as witnefs my hand and seale this third day of Aprill one thousand seven hundred.

Eliz: Turnor. Signed sealed publifhed and declared by the testator as her last will and Testament in the presence of us and then attested by us in the presence of the said Testatrix
